Our revolutionary HALO24 and HALO20+ pulse compression dome radars deliver industry-leading 360-degree sweeps every second at close range, for the ultimate in collision avoidance of stationary and fast-moving targets. With high-quality short, mid and long-range detection, these feature-packed dome antennas ensure targets can be seen vividly – even in the toughest environmental conditions.

Latest software updates feature a host of Radar panel and AIS user improvements (GO7 and above). These include:

Visual enhancements to graphics and data displayed. Such as Plan Position Indicator (PPI) design improvements and AIS targets displayed as an outline of a vessel.
A new menu structure, allowing easier access to commonly used controls and features.
New AIS and MARPA target symbols providing additional information for stationary and moving targets supported by better graphics for clearer visual explanation.
Moving Radar MARPA and AIS targets now display a graduated trail showing the vessel’s past position history on the radar PPI. Duration of history length can be customised.

HALO20 radar offers a cost-effective solution
Our HALO20 Radar systems are a great way to add pulse compression technology to smaller powerboats. See channel markers from right off the bow to storm cells 24 nautical miles away. These compact dome radars are easy to install, have low power needs, and wake instantly from standby to give you radar coverage exactly when and where you need it.

More networking capability and flexibility for GO12
With the release of software update 20.2, the Ethernet port labelled “Radar” is enabled allowing access to Chart and echosounder sources from other networked devices.

GO12 can now access and display:

data from the S5100 & SonarHub modules
echosounder data from another GO12 or NSS MFD that has a connected transducer, and
chart data from cards inserted into other GO12 units or NSS / NSO MFDs
Note: If a StructureScan 3D module is connected to a GO12, it does not have the StructureScan 3D feature; however, DownScan and SideScan are available. GO12 also does not have video over IP functionality.

An Easy to Use Radio for Any Vessel
See clearly in bright daylight with a high contrast black-on-white display, and inverted white-on-black night mode. A rotary dial makes channel selection easy, while large buttons provide quick access to other key functions. Dedicated Channel 16 keys, found on both the radio and its fist microphone, offer instant access to the emergency channel. An included gimbal bracket enables simple table-top, overhead, or bulkhead installation. Flush-mount installation is also possible, with an easy mount-from-front solution, to match the low-profile style of our glass bridge displays and accessories.

Class D DSC Approved
DSC, or “Digital Selective Calling”, makes it easier to stay in touch with other boaters and enables you to broadcast your boat’s location during an emergency. If you find yourself in trouble, the RS20’s dedicated “distress” button will initiate a DSC distress call that sends your boat’s position to anyone within VHF range. Used together with a traditional radio distress call, this makes it easier for other boaters with DSC-capable radios to register your situation and come to your aid. An integrated GPS receiver means your position can be sent even if your boat’s other electronics are powered down.

Easy Access to All International Channels
The RS20S is designed for global use and supports all international channels. With tri-channel watch, easily scan between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and another user-configurable priority channel (in the USA, scan between the current channel, emergency channel 16, and calling channel 9). Alternatively, scan through all available channels or just your selected favourites. Emergency channels can be given priority when scanning to reduce the chance of missing distress calls or other urgent safety messages.

Integrated AIS and GPS Receivers
A dual-channel AIS receiver monitors the position of nearby AIS-equipped vessels, helping you to avoid collisions in crowded harbours and waterways. AIS information can be viewed on the RS40’s built-in screen, or overlaid on your chart or radar screen through a compatible multifunction display. An integrated GPS receiver ensures your boat’s location can be sent with DSC distress calls, even if the rest of your on-board electronics are powered down.

Removable Fist Mic
The RS40’s removable fist mic can be connected to the front or rear of the radio, and optional extension cables allow the radio and mic to be mounted separately. This offers a simple and cost-effective solution for any mounting location, with no cable clutter. For example, the RS40 can be mounted overhead, with no hanging cables, while the mic is connected to an extension socket on the dash below.

Expandable with Wireless Handsets
Add an optional wireless handset to take your radio anywhere on board. The HS40 handset was designed as an intuitive portable companion to the RS40. Each handset duplicates your radio’s display and controls, enabling remote access to all key functions. Up to two wireless handsets can be connected to a single base station.
